Women Veterans Dinner May 21st at 5:30 PM

The Women Veterans Dinner, sponsored by the DAV Department of Ohio, in conjunction with DAV Chapter #63 will be held at 5:30 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Golden Corral Restaurant, located at the Eastgate Plaza, 4394 Glen Este-Withamsville Road (45245) in Union Township, Clermont County. The guest speaker is Brittany Nelson from the Talbert House.

Forgotten Soldier Remembered

A plaque dedication and memorial ceremony honoring William Slone, Revolutionary War soldier and bugler in General Wayne’s Army, and the first settler of Wayne Township, will be held at Jordan Cemetery in Edenton, Ohio on Saturday May 23^rd at 12 Noon.

We invite all Veterans to stand with us as we remember the service, sacrifice, and a call that shaped a nation. Through the steadfast support of Clermont County veterans Service Commission, Wayne Township Trustees, and the citizens of this community, a memorial that honored him for nearly 100 years will stand once more.

Refreshments and celebration to follow at the Stonelick Lake Campgrounds, graciously hosted by the friends of Stonelick State Park.

TV-12 Heath and Retirement Expo

TV-12 Health and Retirement Expo will be held on Friday May 29^th at 12:00 pm in the Sharonville Convention Center.

The Clermont County VSO will have Veterans Service Officers available in The Veterans Resource Zone, to answer VA benefits questions and provide information about all the services offered for veterans, including free transportation to VA medical appointments, emergency financial assistance, filing claims for service-connected disabilities, and VA health care.

The event is designed to connect area seniors and their families with health, wellness, and retirement resources in one location. Attendees can take part in educational seminars, health screenings, and cooking demonstrations, as well as enjoy entertainment, food and prize giveaways. Admission is free and open to the public.
